From our Little Falls yard to Fair Lawn
From Little Falls the bus takes Route 46 and Route 20 along the river to Route 4, or Union Avenue through Paterson and over the Fair Lawn Avenue bridge, reaching Fair Lawn in about 20 minutes; Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn Avenue and Morlot Avenue reach every school from there. Heading out, Route 4 runs straight to the George Washington Bridge for upper Manhattan and the Bronx in about 25 minutes, and Route 208 to Route 17 and the Turnpike covers midtown and the Meadowlands.
On the day
Fair Lawn's schools sit on residential streets, several of them one-way around dismissal, so the driver is told the loading loop and the contact's cell before the trip and arrives in the loading window rather than early. Route 4 toward the bridge slows after 2:30, so for Manhattan trips the return departure is set with dismissal in mind, and the driver chooses the bridge or the tunnel by destination and hour.

Fair Lawn questions
How early can a bus be at a Fair Lawn school?
Any time you need. Buses leave the yard around the clock for daily routes, so a 6:30 AM pickup for a meet or a 5:00 AM departure for a long trip is normal. Tell us the time you want the bus on the loop and we build in the loading.
Do you run Fair Lawn trips over the George Washington Bridge?
Yes. Route 4 puts the bridge about 25 minutes from Fair Lawn, so the Bronx Zoo, the Cloisters and upper Manhattan are short runs. Tolls and parking are itemized at cost on the quote.
Can a Fair Lawn PTO, league or congregation book directly?
Yes. Schools, PTOs, leagues, houses of worship and employers all book the same way. Schools and districts can book on a purchase order; other organizations pay 7 days before the trip date.
Tell us where Fair Lawn needs to be. We'll take it from there.
