SMS Terms & Conditions

The terms for NW Transport work alerts, the text messages we send to our drivers, bus aides and staff.

Effective October 31, 2026

The program

NW Transport work alerts is a text message program run by NW Transport LLC for our employees: school bus drivers, bus aides and other staff. We use it for work messages only, such as:

  • daily route and trip assignments and report times;
  • schedule changes, cancellations and reminders;
  • links to trip details in our driver portal at drivers.nwschoolbus.com.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Employees join by completing and signing our written SMS consent form at our office, where they write down the mobile number they want to use. We collect consent directly from each employee and never buy phone numbers or get them from anyone else. The form reads:

"I agree to receive work-related text messages from NW Transport (route and trip assignments, schedule changes, report times and reminders) at the mobile number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help."

Message frequency, rates, opting out and help

  • Message frequency varies with your schedule. During the school year you may receive messages on most workdays.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Ask your wireless carrier about your plan.
  • To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one text confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages. To rejoin, reply START or sign a new consent form.
  • For help, reply HELP to any message, call (973) 306-4838 or email office@nwschoolbus.com.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your mobile number and consent record only to run this program. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
